This collecting area includes pattern books, periodicals, catalogs, reference works, and archival collections pertaining to clothing, accessories, and traditional attire. Additional subject matter includes the fashion industry, design, and the fashion retail market with an emphasis on Neiman-Marcus and designers/retailers in the north Texas region.
Special Collections supports the Texas Fashion Collection by preserving print materials related to garments and designers included in their collection.

Ellerbe Wood Collection - A collection of newspaper clippings, brochures, photographs, and scrapbooks created by and relating to fashion influencer and Texas native, Ellerbe Wood, documenting fourteen years of her life as she travelled between New York and Paris, introducing Americans to Parisian fashions.
Ken’s Man’s Chop Collection - This collection contains scrapbooks of personal memorabilia of Ken Helfman as well as professional advertisements, correspondences, artifacts, and ephemera related to Ken’s Man’s Shop.
Winn Morton Collection - This collection contains theatrical illustrations, sketches, and personal papers spanning the seven-decade career of Dallas-based set and costume designer, John “Winn” Winniford Morton.
Michael Faircloth Collection: Materials from Michael Faircloth’s work, specifically with Laura Bush, including sketches, photos, video, and print media.
Patricia Fertel Paper Doll Collection - This collection contains hundreds of paper dolls and related materials from the early 19th century to the present.
Peggy Bennet Papers - Collection of published photographic works by Peggy Bennett for Neiman Marcus magazines and catalogs.
Dale T. Smith Neiman-Marcus Collection: Dale T. Smith’s personal collection of Neiman Marcus artifacts includes posters, prints, original art, shopping bags, store display and merchandising props, and Neiman Marcus exclusive products, gifts, and souvenirs.
Texas Fashion Collection Records - This collection consists of exhibit catalogs, brochures, and pamphlets, as well as materials used to advertise the collection such as posters, banners, and cards
